Accidents happen and teething is miserable

We busted our face. Again. Emmie was running in her Crocs and fell on the pavement. Blood streaming down her face. As always I freaked out, but after some ice and a popsicle the situation improved. Luckily no teeth came loose. We simply suffered a fat lip and a small cut. I can't stand Crocs. I feel like she always falls when she is wearing them. But they are so easy and convenient. I can't get rid of them all together but I limit their use.

Anabelle has been so miserable for the past week. I assume it is her teeth. But if it lasts any longer we will have to get her ear checked. I don't remember Emmie having such a hard time with teething. I know I can't compare all the time, but we are having a rough go at it with Anabelle. It could be worse. She is pretty much fussy all day long, but still sleeps great at night.
Can you even believe this monkey could be so fussy?

Just shy of 2.5years

And Emmie is basically potty trained. It just happened one day about 1.5 months ago. She said she had to go potty ran in and did her thing. We had been working on this for awhile and pee pee was getting better. But she did the #2 thing on her own. WE have had a very rare accident on either end. Besides nighttime, she is fully a day time potty trained little girl. I am so proud of her. I may bribe her with and M&M for pee pee or a Dib ice cream for #2, but whatever! It worked!!!!! There are times when I have to give her ice cream at 9pm or 8am, but again, it works.
She pushes her sister down all the time and goes to time out often at home. We also go to timeout at the grocery store, target, or wherever we may be. It is tiring but I believe Anabelle will be one tough cookie soon enough.

Emmie loves Dinosaur Train, Super Why, an occasional Barney or Seasame, Beauty and the Beast and was recently just introduced to Toy Story. No we don't watch TV all the time, but it has its place.

She sleeps great but talks in her sleep quite a bit. She may yell out something like "no mine!" She has some sharing issues we are dealing with ;)

She is so smart. Too smart I think sometimes. She is beautiful, sweet and growing up way too fast!

10 months

Oh my at 10 months Anabelle is a bit different than Emmie was. One thing I should have never expected was for child 2 to be just like child 1. Big mistake. Anabelle weighed in at 20 pounds (75th percentile) and 27.5 inches (50th percentile). I don't think Emmie was 20 pounds until 14 months or so. Ha!

Anabelle says mama, dada, baba. She points to the lights and sounds like she says "cheese" or "these" all the time. We are working on identifying our nose, high fives and some other fun things. She is pulling up, walking while holding my hands, cruising and only a minute away from walking. She wants to keep up with big sister and most of all have the chance to run away when she needs to. On that note, she is getting a little fiesty with her sister. She has been pulling hair and swatting at her every once in awhile. I can't say Emmie doesn't deserve it after everything she does and has done to Anabelle, but I suppose this is where some small amounts of discipline need to happen.
Giving Daddy a kiss

She eats well, as you can tell. Loves grilled cheese, yogurt, all her veggies and fruits. We are starting to wean away from her afternoon bottle and switching to a snack instead. She is getting real good at her sippy cup, but still likes her bottle better.
She has 3 teeth on top that just came through for a total of 5.

Size 3 going on 4 shoe. She is wearing all of Emmie's old shoes so far. She loves pushing her stroller and loves her baby dolls.
Oh my!

She goes to bed around 7-730p and is up between 6 and 7a. She is a real good sleeper and takes great naps during the day. We are still at 2 naps, but may need to try to get to one soon.
